Christine Funk is an attorney, forensic researcher and yoga practioner. She is a graduate of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul, MN Juris Doctor, cum laude. She was appointed to the Legal Resource Committee to the Organization of Scientific Area Committees in 2014, American Academy of Forensic Sciences Program Co-Chair and Chair, Jurisprudence Section; Program Chair and Plenary Session Co-Chair, 2010, Invited to served on the Board of Directors for the American Board of Criminalistics '11-'15, the White House Sub-Committee to the Sub-Committee on Forensic Science: Education Ethics and Terminology Interagency Working Group Member by Appointment in '10 –'11, NACDL Task Force on the Future of Forensic Science '09 - '10, Technical Working Group on DNA for Defense Attorneys National Institute of Justice '07 -'11, Minnesota Forensic Laboratory Advisory Board '06 – '13, Board of the Innocence Project of Minnesota '06 – '13 Lawyer of the Year, '13, Minnesota Lawyer and the Who’s Who in Criminal Defense '07, '08, '09 Minnesota Law and Politics.
